ETICS is the acronym for External Thermal Insulation Composite System.

Created in Central Europe, this system consists of fixing an insulating layer, made from EPS layers, to the external side of the cladding. Over these layers, a mesh embedded in a mortar is fixed, and finally a plaster finish is applied over it. It was created to protect against the cold and also as an energy saving measure.

Today it is used all over the world in order to get the best thermical insulation, both on cold and warm weather.
