DRY RPT SYSTEM

Enclosure system built on dry surfaces using sandwich panels combined with the ventilated facade. It is based on a sequential constructive process – different layers are assembled together, ending up working as an integrated wholes. Easy to dismantle and fully recoverable, increasing its versatility.

Among all the dry systems, DRY ST is characterized by:

  • NON structural profile. It requires a supporting structure at the rear in order to be attached.
  • Ideal for projects with a limited space for facade exits.
  • Ideal for projects not weighing more of 25 Kg/m2.

CORBEL ARRENGEMENT AND STEEL STRUCTURE

4

Adjustable corner supports called corbels are used to transmit the vertical loads of the substructure to the main support. These are made of galvanized shaped steel S275JR and are mechanically fixed to the ceiling with high load capacity clamps.

SANDWICH PANELS

7

The substructure is formed by vertical extruded aluminium profiles (6005A T6 alloy). The are fixed edge to edge of the framework through corbels and they transmit the load from the facade to the main support.

VERTICAL PROFILES

8

An initial insulation layer is placed behind the vertical substructure. It is made by sandwich panels made of pre-lacquered galvanized steel of 0.5mm thick, with an insulating core made of rock wool, PUR or PIR, according to CTE requirements. Vertical profiles are fixed to the substructure using self-tapping screws that include EPDM rubber between the panel and the profile in order to guarantee the tightness of the system and the thermal bridge break.

INNER INSULATION

11

An insulation protection is placed on the internal reinforcement to complement the system. Normally it is made of rockwool insulation. After that, a new sheet of plasterboard is placed to improve the acoustic behaviour and finishing the whole ensemble.

The horizontal substructure is fixed over the vertical profiles using self-tapping screws, clamps... The finishing material will be fixed over this ensemble
